The Tuesday Trainer Spotlight this week goes to CA sisters, Akari and Barani Win. They are a few of our wonderful instructors in Silicon Valley.
Barani:
What inspires you to teach fitness or yoga and how did you get started?
Many benefits of exercise motivated me to teach fitness. I started with running track and cross country in high school. Some dance and fitness classes in college got me hooked. I wanted to be in fitness for life. While I taught fitness and ran marathons, I incorporated yoga for some balance and injury prevention.

Inspired by my sister Barani, yoga was definitely love at first try for me. Thankfully, my yoga journey brought a much-needed balance into my life during my pediatric pharmacy residency at Stanford.
I have been enjoying life to the fullest by staying fit and healthy in mind and body and helping others savor health and fitness as well.
